Once, you run the software, the 'Deleted Email Recovery' window opens up. From the window, you can choose either the option, 'Microsoft Outlook Email recovery' or the 'Outlook Express Email Recovery' according to your need.

 

 

If you know the location of the DBX file, you can click on the 'Select DBX' option to start the scanning process. If you do not know the exact location of the particular DBX file and want the software to list them for you, then you can click on the 'Find DBX' option. The below screenshot shows a selected .dbx file ready for to be recovered. Now you just need to click the 'Recover' button so that the software scans the file for recovery.

 

 

After the deleted file is recovered, all the recovered items are listed in a tree view (as shown in the left panel of the software). The preview can be seen in the right pane. Now you need to click the 'Save' button to save the recovered email.

 

 

The following screenshot offers you to choose the destination path and also the particular format (EML or DBX) to finally save the recovered email.
